About
Mana Battery develops anode-free sodium-ion battery cells and a proprietary fluorine-free, fire-extinguishing electrolyte that delivers higher energy density than LFP lithium-ion at roughly half the cost, targeting defense, grid storage, and low-cost EV applications. Spun out of CU Boulder professor Chunmei Ban's lab, the team includes alumni from Tesla, Solid Power, and SiILion. Solid Power founder Doug Campbell serves as an independent director.
