Landon Mossburg Selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur
Landon Mossburg, Co-Founder and CEO of Peak Energy, has been selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur, joining Endeavor's global network of high-impact founders building and scaling transformative companies. The selection follows Peak Energy's participation in the Endeavor Virtual International Selection Panel (ISP) held in May.
Peak Energy was selected through Endeavor's highly selective, founder-led evaluation process, which identifies entrepreneurs with the potential to build enduring companies, generate significant economic impact, and contribute meaningfully to their entrepreneurial ecosystems. Endeavor is globally recognized for its rigorous selection model and for supporting entrepreneurs scaling innovative businesses across industries and markets.
Founded in 2023, Peak Energy sells grid-scale battery storage systems to utilities and independent power producers. Its flagship product, the GS-1.1, is among the first fully passively cooled grid-scale battery systems, designed to eliminate the fans, pumps, and chillers that conventional lithium-ion systems require to manage heat. Built on a sodium-ion chemistry that avoids rare-earth minerals, the system is engineered for 20+ years of infrastructure-grade operation with minimal scheduled maintenance. In 2025, Peak began bringing grid-scale sodium-ion systems to the U.S. grid, and it has signed a 4.75 GWh supply agreement with BlackRock-backed Jupiter Power beginning in 2026.
Landon Mossburg brings rare depth to the problem he is solving. After graduating from Wake Forest University, he joined Accenture as a management consultant before moving to Tesla, where he worked across engineering and supply chain automation. His experience with battery technology led him to Northvolt, a European lithium-ion battery developer, where he spent five years rising to President of North America and gained a firsthand view of the operational costs and complexity of conventional lithium-ion systems. That experience planted the seed for Peak Energy, which he co-founded in 2023 to build a fundamentally simpler, more durable alternative for the modern grid.
